Cloud Security Senior Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role, you will strengthen client cloud security in Azure, focusing on governance, identity, and infrastructure, while supporting AI-related security. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, design controls, and deliver remediation guidance. The role emphasizes practical architecture work, risk-based recommendations, and ongoing practice development within Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team. This is an opportunity to shape secure digital transformation for diverse clients using Azure and Microsoft security technologies. Compensation / Benefits * Support Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, app and infrastructure security, AI security, resilience, and data protection * Conduct cloud security assessments, design solutions, implement controls, and perform health checks across Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Collaborate with clients to evaluate security needs, identify risks, and propose cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Produce deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation docs * Contribute to business development, internal training, and practice development related to Microsoft cloud security * Lead or oversee project workstreams and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment * Build and sustain professional client relationships through effective communication and delivery quality * Provide clear guidance to peers and junior staff and ensure deadlines are met Tasks * 4+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or cloud security implementation in Azure * 4+ years designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid clouds * 4+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 4+ years experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 3+ years experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including AI services controls (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Ability to travel ~50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disability * travel opportunities (approximately 50% travel)
