Agentic Capability AI and Data Science Engineer

Experteer Overview As an Agentic Capability Engineer at Deloitte AI & Engineering, you design, build, and maintain agentic infrastructure that powers AI-driven delivery at scale. You’ll develop AI agents and systems, reusable prompt patterns, and MCP servers to enable orchestration across platforms. The role combines platform engineering with DevSecOps for AI workflows, delivering reliable, scalable capabilities to clients in government and public services. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to improve performance and drive innovative outcomes that align with Deloitte’s mission. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement agent system architecture and DevSecOps practices for AI workflows * Build and maintain AI agents, agent systems, and reusable skills/workflows for delivery teams * Develop and govern prompt and context engineering patterns for consistent outputs * Stand up MCP servers, CLI tools, and agent testing frameworks * Deliver platform configurations and integrations (CI/CD, repos, environments, guardrails) * Standardize orchestration components for enterprise reuse (templates, harnesses, observability) * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of agent delivery capabilities * Provide technical guidance to ADEs and AEMs on agentic infrastructure usage Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 7+ years of software engineering with platform/infrastructure impact * 5+ years building/deploying AI/ML systems in production * 5+ years cloud platforms and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.) * 2+ years prompting and context optimization with measurable quality improvements * 2+ years designing reusable tools/frameworks or developer productivity infra * Ability to travel 50% on average * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; able to obtain required clearance Key requirements *
