Cloud Security Senior Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role, you help secure client Azure environments and AI services as part of Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team. You design and implement cloud security controls, assess risks, and deliver architecture and remediation guidance across governance, identity, platform and data protection. You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to shape secure cloud solutions and support ongoing practice development. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with opportunities to lead workstreams and contribute to business growth. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, PaaS security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Engage directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services * Possibly travel up to 50% depending on client engagements Tasks * 4+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments * 4+ years designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid clouds * 4+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 4+ years experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 3+ years experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with Azure security design including Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Reasonable accommodations in recruiting process * Professional development and mentorship opportunities * Opportunities for leadership and skill growth * Support for ongoing certification and training * Dynamic, cross-functional team environment
