Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you drive patching, remediation, and exposure reduction for client environments as part of Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience CTEM team. You will translate vulnerability findings into actionable patch plans, coordinate execution with client teams, and report on progress toward risk reduction. You’ll lead forward deployed engineering activities, mentor junior staff, and develop dashboards to track remediation metrics. This position offers impact across enterprise environments and exposure reduction at scale within a trusted consulting context. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward deployed engineering execution for client patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities based on vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams to plan, execute, validate patches, and track exceptions * Develop dashboards, status reports, and remediation metrics showing progress toward exposure reduction goals * Support automation efforts and mentor junior practitioners in patching, remediation, and operations delivery Tasks * 5+ years of IT/security/vulnerability management or related experience * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward deployed engineering in enterprise settings * 4+ years patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications using tools such as BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years scripting/automation in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON * 2+ years using ServiceNow or similar ITSM for remediation workflows, metrics, and status reporting * Willingness to travel ~50% * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program
