Cyber Senior Consultant - ASM Patching Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you help reduce exposure by leading forward deployed engineering for patching and remediation across enterprise environments. You’ll translate findings into actionable patch plans, dashboards, and risk-reducing outcomes, working closely with client teams to drive remediation governance. You’ll manage multi-team delivery and mentor junior practitioners, shaping incident response and ongoing vulnerability programs. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward deployed engineering execution for patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities using vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams for patch planning, execution, validation, and exception tracking * Develop dashboards, status reporting, and remediation metrics demonstrating progress toward exposure reduction goals * Support automation and mentor junior practitioners in patching, remediation, and operational delivery Tasks * 5+ years in IT, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related areas * 4+ years leading remediation execution or forward deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years patching experience across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications with tools like BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON) * 2+ years using ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for remediation workflows, metrics, and reporting * Ability to travel ~50% * Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship Key requirements *
