Experteer Overview In this role, you drive forward-deployed engineering work to patch and remediate vulnerabilities across client environments. You will partner with client teams to translate exposure data into actionable patching plans and measurable risk reduction, aligning remediation with enterprise priorities. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to plan, execute, validate, and track patches, while mostly guiding junior practitioners and delivering clear dashboards and reports. This role sits at the intersection of security findings and operational delivery, enabling safer, more resilient client environments. Compensation / Benefits * Lead day-to-day forward deployed engineering execution for patching and remediation across infrastructure, middleware, endpoints, and applications * Prioritize remediation activities using vulnerability findings, asset criticality, exploitability, and threat context * Coordinate with client technology teams to drive patch planning, execution, validation, and exception tracking * Develop dashboards, status reporting, and remediation metrics showing progress toward exposure reduction goals * Support automation and mentor junior practitioners in patching, remediation, and operational delivery Tasks * 5+ years of experience in information technology, information security, vulnerability management, patch management, or related * 4+ years of experience leading remediation execution or forward deployed engineering in enterprise environments * 4+ years of experience patching across Windows, Linux, middleware, endpoints, or applications with tools like BigFix, SCCM, Red Hat Satellite, WSUS, Tenable, Rapid7, or Qualys * 2+ years of scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or JSON) * 2+ years of experience using ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or similar) for remediation workflows, metrics, and reporting * Ability to travel ~50% * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel up to 50% * opportunities for professional development * inclusive culture * support for accommodations if needed * competitive compensation range
