Cloud Security Senior Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview Join Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team to help clients secure cloud environments and navigate evolving threats. You’ll shape Azure security engagements, collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, and contribute to practice development. You’ll work on governance, identity, platform and AI security, and data protection to enable secure digital transformation. This role offers impact across client projects and internal initiatives with a clear growth path in cloud security leadership. Compensation / Benefits * Support Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application, PaaS, infrastructure, AI security, security monitoring, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews for Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Engage with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and propose configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and other practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 4+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure * 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments * 4+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 4+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 3+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI * Ability to travel 50% (average) based on client engagements * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel opportunities (up to ~50% depending on client) * reasonable accommodations for disabilities * professional development and mentorship * varied client-facing work * inclusive culture (Deloitte values)
