Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview As a Manager in Deloitte’s Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, you guide clients on data protection and encryption strategies, spanning cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. You will design and operate solutions to reduce data risk, lead engagement execution, and stay ahead of encryption trends. This role offers impact by shaping secure architectures and governance for enterprise programs across diverse clients. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes that strengthen client cyber postures. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as SME and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, secure key management, and PKI strategies across environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions including certificate lifecycle management and infrastructure monitoring * Manage day-to-day engagement execution, communications, and timelines to ensure delivery * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and evaluate tools to strengthen security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in relevant field * 7+ years in data protection and information security (incl. data discovery, data classification, DLP, cloud security, encryption, certificate lifecycle) * 7+ years with PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading CLM strategy, design, and implementation with platforms like AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycle, key management, HSM integration * Hands-on understanding of certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud, and servers * Experience leading discovery, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation * Ability to lead technical workstreams, architects, engineers, and offshore/onshore teams * Experience translating business/security requirements into architecture blueprints Key requirements *
