Cyber Data Protection/PKI Manager

Experteer Overview In this role you will guide clients on strategic data protection and encryption, shaping PKI and certificate management across cloud and on-prem environments. You will lead transformations to reduce data risk, manage engagements, and stay ahead of encryption trends. As part of the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, you help clients align cyber programs with business goals and regulatory requirements. This position offers meaningful impact by strengthening clients’ cyber posture at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on data protection and encryption requirements * Advise on encryption, decryption, secure key management, and PKI strategies across environments * Design, implement, and operate data protection solutions including certificate lifecycle management * Manage day-to-day engagement execution, timelines, and stakeholder communications * Stay current on emerging encryption technologies and recommend tools and solutions to strengthen data security Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in data protection and information security * 7+ years with PKI concepts and enterprise trust models * 5+ years leading certificate lifecycle management solutions using AppViewX, Venafi, Keyfactor, DigiCert or similar * Advanced knowledge of cryptography, certificate lifecycles, key management, HSMs, and policy enforcement * Hands-on experience with certificate automation across load balancers, WAFs, API gateways, Kubernetes, cloud and network security * Experience leading discovery, remediation, renewal automation, and compliance monitoring programs * Strong client leadership, executive stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation * Ability to lead technical workstreams and cross-functional teams * Experience translating business and security requirements into architecture and implementation plans * Understanding of delivery governance, risk management, and QA for enterprise security transformations Key requirements *
