Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Cyber Enterprise Security team, you help clients modernize network security with cloud-delivered zero-trust architectures. You design, deploy, and optimize Zscaler capabilities across complex environments to strengthen security and improve user experiences. You work on end-to-end transformation across on-premises and cloud ecosystems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable secure digital transformation. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at scale within a leading cyber practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage ZIA and ZPA across client environments * Support ZTNA transformations, replacing legacy VPNs and modernizing access controls * Configure and optimize Zscaler security features (policy, TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, solution designs, and client recommendations aligned to security and network transformation Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * ZDTE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA and ZPA experience in enterprise environments * 1+ years experience with Zscaler Branch/Cloud Connectors and replacing SD-WAN * 3+ years with advanced Zscaler security features (CBI, DLP, ATP, IPS) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection in ZIA * 1+ years Zscaler AI capabilities (ZDX, AI-driven policy) * 3+ years defining and managing Zscaler security policies * Experience with cloud providers to deploy ZPA App Connectors * Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR and APIs/automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Experience with identity providers for SAML/SCIM auth * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disabilities * global career opportunities * client-facing and high-impact projects * professional development and mentorship * inclusive culture
