Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role you will help clients modernize network security via cloud-delivered zero trust architectures, focusing on designing, deploying, and optimizing Zscaler capabilities across complex environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture and enable secure transformation across on-premises and cloud ecosystems. You’ll translate technical concepts into actionable guidance for executives and clients, delivering high-impact security solutions. This role offers the chance to shape large-scale SASE and zero-trust programs within Deloitte’s Cyber practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage ZIA and ZPA across enterprise environments * Support ZTNA transformations and modernize VPN access controls * Configure and optimize Zscaler security features (policy admin, SSL/TLS inspection, DLP, ATP, Cloud-based traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and app connectors across on-prem and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security and transformation goals Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * ZDTE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA/ZPA experience in enterprise environments * 1+ years Zscaler Branch Connector, Cloud Connector, and SD-WAN replacement experience * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection, DLP policies, and IPS/CBI configurations * 3+ years Zscaler security policy management and RBAC in Admin Portal * 3+ years experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ZPA connectors * 3+ years experience with SIEM/SOAR integrations (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR) * 3+ years scripting/automation with Zscaler APIs (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Ability to travel up to 50% * Identity management integration (ZIdentity) Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * accommodations for people with disabilities
