Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role, you will modernize clients’ network security with cloud-delivered zero trust architectures, focusing on Zscaler capabilities across complex environments. You’ll design, deploy, and optimize solutions to strengthen security posture and improve user experiences while supporting secure transformation across on-premises and cloud ecosystems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, client-facing recommendations that drive secure digital transformation. This role offers the opportunity to influence security architecture at scale and advance Zscaler-enabled transformations. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) in enterprise environments * Lead/participate in zero trust network access (ZTNA) transformations, replacing legacy VPNs and modernizing access controls * Configure and optimize Zscaler features (policy, SSL/TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud-based traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, solution designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security, transformation, and operational needs Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * ZDTE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA and ZPA design, deployment, and management * 1+ years Zscaler Branch Connector and Cloud Connector experience * 3+ years configuring advanced Zscaler security features (ATP, IPS, CBI, DLP) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection with ZIA * 1+ years Zscaler AI capabilities (ZDX, AI-driven policy) * 3+ years managing Zscaler security policies and RBAC * Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for ZPA connectors * Experience integrating with SIEM/SOAR tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, XSOAR) * Experience with Zscaler APIs and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Experience with identity integrations (Okta, Azure AD) for SAML/SCIM * Ability to travel up to 50% * Experience in presenting architectures to executives Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations for disabilities
