Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer - GPS

Experteer Overview As a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer, you collaborate with client teams to rapidly prototype and deliver GenAI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business impact. You partner with leaders and engineers to shape solutions, embed with clients, and translate high-value use cases into working AI systems. You will contribute to an FDE pod, deliver production-quality code, and develop reusable assets to scale AI capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of technology and government-focused consulting, offering a meaningful impact on clients’ missions. Compensation / Benefits * Embed with clients to identify business needs and translate GenAI use cases into solutions * Partner with leaders, product owners, architects, and engineers to align priorities * Lead sessions to shape solutions and drive outcomes * Prototype and deliver AI solutions using industry expertise and emerging capabilities * Mentor newer team members within an FDE pod * Build AI-enabled solutions, agentic platforms, and workflows across enterprise AI platforms * Develop scalable engineering patterns, tool-use approaches, and human-in-the-loop controls * Apply architecture decisions balancing quality, safety, latency, cost, and model risk * Deliver production-quality code with strong testing, CI/CD, logging, and documentation * Design extensible functionality, support sprint sizing, and align with senior teammates * Contribute reusable assets including code, prompt libraries, runbooks, and reference implementations Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field * 4+ years in software/data/analytics engineering * 1+ years building and deploying GenAI/LLM-powered solutions in client or production environments * 1+ years of hands-on Palantir experience (Foundry, AIP, Maven or equivalent) * 1+ years leading project workstreams and translating business problems into AI solutions * 1+ years of maintainable, well-documented code * Ability to travel ~50% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Ability to obtain and maintain US government security clearance Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * professional development opportunities * reasonable accommodations for disabilities
