Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop and support applications that streamline data workflows and scientific processes at the intersection of software engineering and discovery. You’ll collaborate with scientists to build scalable analytics tools that enable data-driven decision making. You’ll solve meaningful problems and contribute to cutting-edge research, while owning your work and documentation. Compensation / Benefits * Troubleshoot and support specific applications and solutions under general direction * Configure and develop applications using analytical specifications and system design references * Support, test, and refine configurations during implementation and change management to fit business needs * Collaborate with business and IT partners to enhance applications for efficiency * Prepare program-level and user-level documentation * Assist with software configuration management, performance tuning, and training * Organize and prioritize multiple work activities to meet deadlines * Interact with customers to diagnose problems and gauge comfort with the application Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field * 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; OR Masters’ degree with 0+ years of relevant experience Key requirements * discretionary annual bonus * discretionary stock-based long-term incentives * paid time off * medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans
