Labview Test Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for electronic assemblies and PCBA manufacturing. You work closely with production, IT, and R&D to deliver reliable, scalable test processes and data systems. You will apply LabVIEW and TestStand to automate tests, troubleshoot hardware and software, and contribute to continuous improvement and new product introductions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on yield, quality, and time-to-market, in a collaborative engineering culture. Compensation / Benefits * Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test equipment (NI PXI) * Design and run automated test sequences using LabVIEW and TestStand * Interface with IT to ensure SQL-based data systems operate correctly * Analyze non-routine test issues to identify root causes and corrective actions * Contribute to new product introduction by defining test requirements and processes * Support transfer of test processes across global supply chain for consistency * Provide troubleshooting and problemsolving for test equipment and processes * Collaborate with R&D, production, and IT to improve test yield and reliability * Disassemble/assemble test fixtures and equipment for maintenance Tasks * Proficiency with NI LabVIEW for automated test software * Experience with NI TestStand for test sequences * Strong Windows hardware/software skills; familiarity with PCs * Experience with NI PXI systems for automated equipment * Experience in electronic assembly/PCBA manufacturing * Experience with boundary scan tools (XJTAG, Corelis) * SQL-based data systems understanding; test software data interaction * Team-oriented with strong communication and troubleshooting abilities * Electronics training with ability to analyze electrical schematics * Mechanical aptitude for disassembly/reassembly of fixtures Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Life insurance * Short and long-term disability * HSA * PTO / leave
