Labview Test Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you design, develop, and maintain automated test systems for electronic assemblies and PCBA manufacturing. You work closely with production, IT, and R&D to deliver reliable, scalable test processes and to support new product introductions. You’ll improve test yield and performance while ensuring data integrity across the global supply chain. You engage hands-on with NI LabVIEW, TestStand, and PXI-based equipment to solve complex test challenges and enable efficient production. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze non-routine test and production issues to identify root causes and corrective actions * Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test equipment using NI PXI systems and related platforms * Design and maintain automated test software in NI LabVIEW and TestStand for electronic assembly and PCBA manufacturing * Collaborate with IT to ensure test software and SQL-based data systems operate correctly and perform data maintenance * Monitor and support SQL databases for test data to ensure data integrity and availability * Communicate test findings and improvement opportunities to R&D with proper documentation * Support continuous improvement of production test yield by identifying root causes and data-driven solutions * Assist in transferring test processes across the global supply chain for consistency and reliability * Contribute to defining test requirements and processes for new products within the NPI team * Apply structured problem-solving and electronics knowledge to diagnose test and equipment issues Tasks * Proficiency with NI LabVIEW for automated test software * Experience with NI TestStand for test sequences * Strong Windows PC hardware/software skills and familiarity with legacy systems * Experience with NI PXI systems, NI cDAQ, PXI/PXIe platforms * Experience in electronic assembly/PCBA manufacturing environment * Experience using boundary scan tools for board-level testing * Team orientation and strong communication skills * Troubleshooting and structured problem-solving abilities * Electronics training with ability to read electrical schematics * Mechanical aptitude for disassembly/reassembly of test fixtures * SQL-based data systems experience and knowledge of test software interaction with SQL databases * LabVIEW and C++ development experience * Linux experience for Windows-based test environments * IT/R&D collaboration experience * Experience transferring test processes across global supply chains * NPI involvement in defining test requirements Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Life Insurance (Voluntary/AD&D) * Disability coverage * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits
