Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help clients strengthen cyber resilience by leading Next-Generation SOC initiatives, primarily around Cortex XSIAM, SIEM ingestion, and SOAR automation. You’ll integrate diverse log sources, tailor detection use cases, and drive automation for containment and remediation. You work with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and present actionable findings to clients. This is a hands-on consulting role with a focus on modern security operations and threat intelligence integration. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM), SIEM ingestion, and SOAR playbooks * Integrate log and telemetry sources to ensure data quality and operational visibility * Develop and optimize automated response workflows for incident containment and remediation * Advise clients on threat detection use cases, automation strategies, and SOC capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance solutions and present findings to client stakeholders Tasks * Bachelor in Computer Science * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security (with 3+ years on AWS, GCP, Azure) * 3+ years with SOC tools/platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Splunk, or similar SIEM) * 3+ years in SOC operations (detection engineering, automation, playbooks, data ingestion and normalization) * 3+ years with EDR (Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, or CrowdStrike) and related governance/compliance work * Palo Alto Networks certifications or equivalent (PCNSE, CCSP, CEH) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Accommodations for people with disabilities * Competitive compensation range ($105,400 - $207,800)
