Cyber Senior Consultant - AI SOC

Experteer Overview In this client-facing role you design and deliver security operations solutions that modernize monitoring, detection, response, and automation. You’ll work with client stakeholders to implement SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, and AI-enabled workflows, translating requirements into deployable capabilities that improve analyst throughput and alert quality. You’ll collaborate with SOC analysts and threat hunters to tune detection and drive production-ready engineering. This is a growth-focused role within Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience practice, offering hands-on impact across enterprise and cloud environments. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement security operations solutions across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, detection, and response platforms * Develop integrations, automation playbooks, and data pipelines to support ingestion, enrichment, triage, and response workflows * Collaborate with SOC analysts, threat hunters, and client stakeholders to prioritize and tune detection content and processes * Translate security operations requirements into technical designs, deployment plans, and production-ready solutions * Support embedded client delivery by leading day-to-day workstreams, documenting outcomes, and contributing reusable assets and implementation patterns Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience * 6+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, security engineering, or enterprise cyber defense * Experience designing or optimizing SIEM, SOAR, detection, telemetry, or response workflows across enterprise platforms * Experience building and maintaining integrations or automation workflows using Python or a similar scripting language * Experience translating operational requirements into technical solutions for clients or internal stakeholders * Ability to travel ~50% depending on client and project needs * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
