Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of Data Protection / Cloud Security experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) Sensitive Information Types (SITs) Sensitivity Labels & Auto-Labeling Microsoft 365 E5 Security & Compliance eDiscovery & Insider Risk Management Experience tuning DLP policies, reducing false positives, and optimizing Purview environments Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have: Label taxonomy redesign Experience evaluating other data governance/security platforms Compliance or regulated industry experience This is a very hands-on engineering role. The manager is looking for someone who has actually configured, optimized, and supported Microsoft Purview not someone with only general Microsoft 365 administration experience.
