Job description
Experteer Overview You join Deloitte’s Cyber team to build governed data foundations powering risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled workflows. You design production-grade pipelines and data models that support risk reporting, controls monitoring, and audit-ready evidence with strong governance and privacy-by-design. You collaborate with Cyber, Risk, Privacy and Legal stakeholders to translate requirements into guardrails. This role blends data engineering with GRC expectations in regulated environments, offering opportunities to shape AI-enabled governance and cyber operations at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines ingesting security telemetry and compliance artifacts into governed data stores. * Design data models for risk, controls, and audit evidence to enable self-service analytics and dashboards. * Implement data quality, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and regulatory defensibility. * Develop AI-enabled capabilities for governance, risk, and cyber operations, including evidence summarization and control testing assistance. * Engineer integrations between data platforms and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks for production support. * Partner with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into implementable controls and guardrails. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years of experience in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch and/or stream processing with cloud, containers, IaC, APIs, and secrets management * Experience implementing data governance controls (classification, PII handling, least-privilege, encryption, audit logging, lineage/metadata) * Experience supporting GRC workflows (risk reporting, audit data requests, controls monitoring/testing, governance tool integrations) and LLM-enabled applications * Ability to travel 0-25% and willingness to work with clients in various industries * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
