Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to building bespoke software for government clients, working within an Agile team to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions across cloud environments. You will engage with clients, lead parts of engagements, and help shape multi-discipline software projects from concept to support. The role blends hands-on coding with architecture, delivery, and ongoing improvements in security and quality. This is a hybrid, client-facing opportunity with regular travel to meet stakeholders. Pay / Benefits * Design, develop and test software solutions from concept through delivery * Utilise open-source libraries and components to build robust systems * Create and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for quality and security * Deploy software across AWS, Azure, and private cloud environments * Lead project work and client engagement; contribute to architecture design * Participate in full software lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, implementation, training and maintenance * Collaborate within an Agile team and support cross-functional delivery Tasks * Java, TypeScript, JavaScript and React experience * Cloud experience with AWS and Azure * Open to consultancy background; security clearance eligible * British passport holder with 5 years UK residency * Strong collaboration and client-facing capabilities * Ability to travel to meet clients regularly Key requirements * Free 24/7 counselling and employee assistance programme * flexitime and at-home working * city-centre offices across the UK * assigned Career Coach * regular social events * onsite allowances for lunch and drinks
