2nd Line Engineer

As a Senior 2nd Line Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support to clients, taking ownership of escalated issues and working closely with senior engineers on more complex infrastructure and project work.

You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining client environments and contributing to infrastructure upgrades, migrations and other IT projects., + Provide advanced 2nd Line technical support to clients remotely and occasionally on-site.

• Act as an escalation point for more junior members of the Service Desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and networking environments.
• Support and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Assist with Hyper-V virtualisation environments.
• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam.
• Assist with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams and other cloud-based technologies.
• Troubleshoot wired and wireless networking issues, including VLANs, VPNs and routing.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and server projects.
• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Maintain excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Previous MSP experience would be highly advantageous.

• Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience
