Experteer Overview In this role you will help shape regulatory security monitoring at scale within Lloyds Banking Group, using data, automation and modern architectures to protect customers. You’ll operate at the crossroads of security, data engineering and platform delivery, delivering scalable, automated and auditable solutions. You will drive innovation while ensuring enterprise-wide regulatory compliance. This is an opportunity to influence how security monitoring supports a trusted financial services platform. Pay / Benefits * Design, build and evolve regulatory security monitoring and compliance capabilities with scalable, verifiable controls * Lead development of security telemetry and monitoring solutions (including Database Activity Monitoring) * Architect and optimise alerting configurations across cloud and on-premise data sources * Drive continuous compliance by embedding automated control validation, monitoring and evidencing into engineering workflows * Apply CI/CD, automation, testing and infrastructure as code to improve quality, speed and reliability * Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the lab * Challenge existing approaches and pursue opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness Tasks * Strong experience in security monitoring, telemetry or compliance engineering, including platforms such as Database Activity Monitoring or similar * Proven ability to design and deliver data-driven monitoring solutions (pipelines, ingestion frameworks, automation) * Deep understanding of security logging and regulatory environments (e.g., SOX, SWIFT CSP, audit logging) * Experience with modern cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure) and distributed architectures * Strong problem-solving capability with structured, analytical thinking * Excellent collaboration and communication skills to influence stakeholders across teams Key requirements * generous pension contribution up to 15% * annual performance-related bonus * share schemes including free shares * discounted shopping * 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays * wellbeing initiatives
