Job description

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements
  • Assist in modernization efforts, including integration with distributed systems and cloud platforms
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and track progress using project management tools

Requirements

Mainframe Technologies:

  • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL

Database & SQL:

  • Solid experience with DB2
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and complex SQL queries

Cloud & Modernization:

  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud services
  • Familiarity with distributed systems architecture

Tools & Methodologies:

  • Experience with Jira for Agile project tracking

Additional Skills:

  • Understanding of REST APIs
  • Knowledge of web-based distributed application architecture
