Mainframe Engineer/Developer

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Engineer/Developer to join a collaborative, high-performing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support mainframe applications while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions from development through production., * Develop, enhance, test, and debug mainframe applications

• Perform code analysis, troubleshooting, and production support
• Collaborate with infrastructure and environment teams to promote code across development, testing, and production environments
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
• Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution

• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging mainframe applications
• 5+ years of COBOL development experience
• Strong experience with CICS, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, MQ, JCL
• Experience with Endeavor Software Manager
• Familiarity with DB2 utilities, File-AID, job schedulers, and debugging tools
• Knowledge of secure file transfer processes (SFTP/AWX)
• Understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• CICS systems administration knowledge
• Experience with Java and front-end technologies such as Angular

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
