Software Developer (Frontend)

Experteer Overview In this role you will build and maintain web features for the Brivity platform, collaborating with product and design to deliver scalable, high-quality experiences. You will work across the full stack, leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost productivity while upholding engineering standards. You’ll translate product requirements and Figma designs into polished software and contribute to testing, performance, and reliability. Compensation / Benefits * Build and maintain web applications and features for the Brivity platform using React, TypeScript, Ruby, and .NET across the full stack * Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver features for real estate teams * Translate product requirements and Figma designs into high-quality product experiences * Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation * Write clean, scalable, well-documented code following engineering best practices * Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) * Debug issues, fix bugs, and improve performance and reliability across the stack * Identify and reduce technical debt and improve codebase quality * Participate in code reviews and contribute to raising engineering standards * Collaborate cross-functionally with design, QA, backend engineering, and product teams * Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Contribute to Agile processes (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) * Maintain and improve technical documentation for faster team delivery * Stay current with platform updates, tools, and best practices including AI development tools Tasks * 3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend and/or full-stack web development * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience * Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript * Working knowledge of Ruby and/or .NET, or ability to pick up new languages quickly * Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs * Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor * Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end) * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices * Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration * Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Key requirements * Fully remote with flexible work arrangement * PTO as needed * Comprehensive insurance coverage * 401(k) match * Stock option grants * Stock purchase plan
