Systems Engineer III

• Experience in retail; grocery preferred. Self-motived; proven ability to independently lead and/or contribute to production support and project workstreams.
• Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization’s systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software
• Monitors the performance of systems
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and experience in the field or in a related area
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
• Strong analytical skills required
• Experience in Retail POS technology and Payments processing required; grocery preferred
• Experience with NCR Storeline POS, NCR Connected Payments, Ingenico PIN pad and estate management preferred.

5 Must Haves:

1. Retail POS technology experience–terminals and pin pad with emphasize on grocery-REQUIRED
2. Individual contributor–self-starter–need to work without micro
3. Production Support escalation–ability to troubleshoot
4. Attend daily meetings, discuss open issues/challenges, manage and execute priorities of the day, triage and manage request
5. Working with external vendors–great communication skills, POC for specific projects
6. Understanding Program Management model

Certifications/Degree: IT/Computer Science not required–Familiar; PCI POS experiences

Years of Experience: At least 5 years
