Experteer Overview As a Software Engineer on the SLCM-N program, you contribute to a new Navy-focused capability by designing, building, and testing software for mission-critical systems. You will partner with a close-knit, mission-driven team to shape architecture and drive software quality in networking and distributed environments. Expect engaging challenges with real national-security impact and opportunities to influence technical roadmaps. This onsite, clearance-required role suits engineers who want to grow within a high-stakes defense program. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to architectural standards, roadmaps, and design decisions for networking and distributed systems * Implement and optimize networking solutions for mission-critical systems * Contribute to software development, testing methodologies, and system integration practices * Resolve highly complex software and networking issues with broad system impact * Collaborate on complex software integration and issue resolution * Participate in technical reviews and drive continuous improvement of software development practices * Support program reviews, customer engagements, and technical planning activities Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in software-related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6 months relevant experience * Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship; local onsite work * Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and strong coding/testing/documentation skills * Ability to follow standard practices and collaborate with project leaders Key requirements * flexible schedules with every other Friday off (9/80) * 401k matching * flex time off * paid parental leave * healthcare benefits * wellness programs
