Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design, build, and operation of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and microsegmentation, while developing AI-driven automation to handle routine security tasks. You will act as a hands-on technical owner who also shapes architecture and strategy, partnering with teams to drive AI-native security operations. The opportunity combines advanced network security with cutting-edge AI agents to dramatically boost productivity. You will work onsite at multiple locations and contribute to a security program that emphasizes automation, governance, and regulatory awareness. Compensation / Benefits * Own day-to-day engineering, configuration, and optimization of ZTNA and microsegmentation across environments * Design and implement least-privilege segmentation policies for data center, cloud, and hybrid workloads * Drive enterprise-wide ZTNA adoption by partnering with Infra, Apps, and DevOps teams * Develop and maintain segmentation maps, traffic baselines, and policy rules aligned to critical apps and regulatory boundaries * Troubleshoot network access issues related to ZTNA policy enforcement and identity-aware controls * Learn to design, build, and manage AI agents to automate routine security operations (policy reviews, firewall audits, segmentation gap analysis, anomaly triage) * Build AI-assisted runbooks enabling autonomous or semi-autonomous handling of security events * Monitor AI agent performance and safety using governance frameworks and human feedback loops * Contribute to AI Governance practices including prompt version control, testing, and compliance with governance directives * Participate in incident response for network-layer events and document architectures and SOPs to enable knowledge transfer and auditability * Stay current on Zero Trust, AI/ML developments, and threats in a federally regulated financial environment Tasks * 7+ years of progressive network security engineering experience * Hands-on work with firewall management, network segmentation, VPN/ZTNA, and IDS/IPS * Experience with microsegmentation platforms and ZTNA * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing/switching, proxy architectures, and cloud networking * Willingness to learn AI/ML concepts, prompt engineering, and agent automation frameworks * Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience) Key requirements * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * Paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays * HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits * 401(k) with employer match * 529 Savings Plan * Employee Mortgage Loan Program
