Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Back-End Developer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. This role sits within a cybersecurity-focused team, with opportunities to work on high-impact, large-scale, identity and access management (IAM) systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable backend services and microservices
  • Build and maintain secure, high-availability systems
  • Contribute to systems that support authentication, authorization, and access control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and implementation

Requirements

  • 10+ years overall and 6+ years of backend development experience
  • ABSOLUTE MUST: 100% Strong proficiency in Python and Golang (GO)
  • 2 3+ years of experience building and maintaining microservices architectures
  • Solid experience with databases and SQL (at least one major database system)
  • 3+ years working with databases in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (2+ years)
  • Strong understanding of multithreading and multiprocessing concepts
  • Proven experience building scalable and distributed systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Spark or Hive
  • Experience with authentication and authorization systems (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
  • Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
  • Experience with cloud IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud Platform IAM)
  • Knowledge of security best practices or common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
  • Experience with message queues (Kafka) and distributed systems
