Experteer Overview As a Software Engineer II in the Enterprise AI & Emerging Tech organization, you design and deliver AI-powered solutions that tackle complex business problems. You work across the full AI product delivery cycle, partnering with stakeholders to translate needs into deployable capabilities. The role blends hands-on development with technical leadership, fostering growth and driving measurable outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and deliver AI-powered solutions across strategic and rapid-field engagements * Leverage AI capabilities including LLMs, agentic workflows, cloud services, and Kubernetes to solve business problems * Lead solution design with architects, product owners, and technical leads to translate business problems into production-ready designs * Own end-to-end delivery from scoping to knowledge transfer while maintaining high code and design standards * Engage with LOB stakeholders to surface adjacent needs and inform the AI product roadmap * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers as an informal technical lead * Demonstrate subject matter expertise across multiple technology domains * Analyze and resolve defects and incidents of advanced complexity * Perform other duties as assigned Tasks * Proficiency in Python; knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript/Java is a plus * Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure * Experience with Kubernetes and containerization * Proficiency with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture * Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) * Experience designing agentic workflows, LLM integrations, or AI automations * Strong written and verbal communication; ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field and 4+ years of software engineering experience Key requirements * Health Insurance for employees and dependents * 401(k) with company match * Pension plan funded by Travelers * Paid Time Off (minimum 20 days) plus holidays * Wellness program and mental health resources * Volunteer opportunities and matching gifts
