Job description

Experteer Overview As Manager, People Data Governance, you build the foundation for scalable people data to empower leaders to make smarter, faster decisions. You will own the single source of truth for workforce metrics and partner across teams to translate requirements into robust data standards. This foundational role prioritizes data quality, privacy, and governance while enabling trusted reporting and self-service analytics. You’ll shape how VEG scales its people data to support its hospital network and VEGgies. Compensation / Benefits * Define and enforce governance standards for core HR data (headcount, turnover, DEI, recruiting, internal mobility) * Maintain the people data dictionary, data hierarchy, and business definitions to ensure consistent reporting * Lead data audits, resolve data issues, validate hierarchies, and assess changes to uphold data integrity * Collaborate with Solutions & Insights, HRBPs, COEs, Finance, and IT/Data Engineering to specify data needs and act as the trusted metrics advisor * Establish data access, security, privacy, and stewardship practices with HR, IT, Legal, and Information Security * Operationalize scalable data capabilities by modeling data, defining reusable logic, identifying automation opportunities, and enabling self-service analytics and predictive insights Tasks * 5+ years in HR data management, people data governance, HRIS, or related analytics roles with a track record of improving data quality and enabling data-driven decisions * Knowledge of data governance, stewardship, data quality, and privacy/compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) * Experience creating data standards, definitions, and governance processes for consistent workforce data * Hands-on experience with Workday reporting and workforce data management * Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Cornerstone, Greenhouse, ServiceNow or similar HR tech preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights for technical and non-technical audiences * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills * Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent practical experience Key requirements * Competitive compensation ($125,000 - $150,000) + bonus + benefits * Health and wellness benefits from day one * Paid parental leave up to 12 weeks at 100% salary * Inclusive fertility and family-building care * Unlimited PTO * Employee referral program
