Job description

Experteer Overview You will develop and apply quantitative methods to measure advertising effectiveness and incrementality, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You’ll design experiments using causal inference to establish causality and inform strategy, and deliver end-to-end analyses from data gathering to communicating results to executives. You will contribute to privacy-preserving measurement methods and help scale ad measurement and monetization across Google’s ads products. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful insights that shape campaigns, bidding, and allocations at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with teams to define questions on advertising effectiveness and develop quantitative approaches to answer them. * Apply causal inference to design experiments, establish causality, and assess attribution for strategic decisions. * Analyze large datasets end-to-end: gather data, conduct EDA, develop models, and present results to business partners and executives. * Partner cross-functionally to deliver business recommendations, including cost-benefit analyses and privacy-preserving methods. * Present findings to stakeholders at multiple levels to drive decisions. Tasks * Master’s degree in statistics, data science, mathematics, physics, economics, operations research, engineering, or related quantitative field; or PhD * 3 years of work experience in analytics solving product or business problems; coding (Python, R, SQL); querying databases or statistical analysis; or a PhD * Experience with deep learning, machine learning, ML architecture, data analysis, and distributed computing Key requirements * bonus target * equity * benefits
