Job description

  • Identify new markets and emerging application trends to define innovative protocol bridges, interface aggregator and connectivity hub solution roadmap
  • Translate customer requirements to product specifications with compelling value proposition and competitive advantages. Actively engage with customers to gain deep understanding of their system and product requirements
  • Conduct competitive technical analysis and benchmarking
  • Collaborate with Cross functional team - Design & Test Engineers, Applications Engineers, Marketing to develop and launch new products on time
  • Prepare technical documentation - product specifications, datasheets, white papers, presentations, application notes, and develop product demos that highlight the value proposition and advantages of products
  • Oversee the development of application reference circuits and demonstration boards
  • Provide technical guidance and support for complex customer issues to secure design-ins
  • Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer account teams - provide technical expertise, assist with customer engagements, and support marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • 15+ years of work experience in new product definition and architecture specification
  • Solid knowledge of multiple interface specifications - USB2/eUSB2, I3C, I2C, UART, SPMI, SDIO, I2S, Real time Ethernet 100M/1G
  • Prior specification and development experience with protocol bridging, aggregator and interface expander solutions (MCU based or Hardware FSM based)
  • Working knowledge of Timestamping, Security/Encryption is beneficial
  • Experience with IEEE1722 and IEEE1588 based implementations in the past
  • Good understanding of mobile, data centers, robotics and embedded/IOT system architectures
  • Strategic thinking to collaborate with partners and OEMs to arrive at innovative proposals and new architectures
  • Active participation and contribution to standardization efforts
  • Prior experience of developing System-C function models is desired. Timing accurate modeling experience is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams and can-do attitude, * * BSEE in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering, MSEE is desirable

The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles. Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is: $196,800 to $270,600 annually
