Experteer Overview As a Principal Software Engineer in JPMorganChaseās Digital Technology team, you drive engineering excellence to build secure, scalable technology products for leading financial portfolios. You collaborate across functions to implement AI-enabled development practices and durable software frameworks. You shape enterprise-scale architectures and guide cross-functional teams toward best-in-class outcomes. This role offers impact in advancing customer experiences and technology strategy within a respected financial institution. Compensation / Benefits * Create scalable coding frameworks and production-ready code across domains * Review, debug, and ensure security of code produced by team members * Architect and govern AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes at scale with guardrails * Leverage SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development capabilities to maximize automation value * Advise cross-functional teams on technical matters and serve as the go-to subject matter expert * Contribute to technical methods and reusable software frameworks adopted across teams * Influence senior stakeholders in business, product, and technology to align on architecture and roadmaps * Define enterprise-scale target state AI-enabled architecture for Consumer & Community Banking solutions to enhance customer experiences * Collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps and solution architectures towards the target state Tasks * Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience * Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability * Expertise in one or more programming languages * Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices with enterprise-authorized tools * Strong understanding of responsible AI use, security, resiliency, data handling, and governance * Ability to influence senior technical leaders on safe scaling patterns and reuse * Experience applying domain knowledge to solve complex technology problems * Practical cloud-native experience * Understanding of the business Key requirements *
