Job description
We are looking for a professional with 15+ years in IT and experienced Infrastructure Lead to support enterprise infrastructure operations, incident management, and cloud platform stability within a fast-paced production environment. This individual will play a key role in leading technical troubleshooting efforts, coordinating major incident resolution activities, and supporting ongoing infrastructure initiatives across cloud and on-premise systems., * Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for critical production incidents and system outages.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams during high-priority incidents and drive timely issue resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis and document corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide regular communication updates to stakeholders during incident resolution activities.
Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Support and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure environments.
- Troubleshoot and support AWS cloud services and related infrastructure components.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, system availability, and operational health.
- Assist with infrastructure improvements, optimization, and operational best practices.
Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with application, database, networking, and cloud teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and support teams when necessary.
- Contribute to infrastructure planning, operational processes, and support documentation.
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Help improve incident response procedures, operational workflows, and support standards.
- Participate in after-hours support activities during critical production events when required.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VLAN?, The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, infrastructure operations, monitoring tools, networking, and production support, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams., * 15+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud operations, or enterprise production support environments.
- Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch
- SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog
- Cisco networking technologies including switching, routing, and VLANs
- Experience supporting enterprise production systems and managing critical incidents.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools such as Python or Bash.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud environments.
- Exposure to Salesforce platform support or integrations.
- Familiarity with Snowflake environments.
- Experience with DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-vendor environments.
Benefits & conditions
Work Environment
- Hybrid work schedule with onsite presence in Naperville, IL (3 days per week).
- Occasional after-hours support may be required for critical production incidents.
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
