Job description

We’re recruiting for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, cloud environments, and DevOps best practices on Microsoft Azure for a leading financial services organisation., * Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines; automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes

  • Implement branch management, version control, and release strategies, reducing manual intervention through automation
  • Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
  • Configure and maintain Azure resources including VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and Storage Accounts, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS); monitor and optimise clusters and implement container security best practices
  • Implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana; perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
  • Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and compliance checks

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience in Azure DevOps
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep) and source control (Git, Azure Repos, GitHub)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics)
  • Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and RBAC
  • Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong problem-solving abilities
