Job description

We’re recruiting for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, cloud environments, and DevOps best practices on Microsoft Azure for a leading financial services organisation., * Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines; automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes

Implement branch management, version control, and release strategies, reducing manual intervention through automation
Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
Configure and maintain Azure resources including VMs, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, and Storage Accounts, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS); monitor and optimise clusters and implement container security best practices
Implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana; perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues
Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and compliance checks

Requirements

6+ years’ experience in Azure DevOps
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Strong hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines using YAML
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep) and source control (Git, Azure Repos, GitHub)
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics)
Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and RBAC
Strong Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Azure CLI)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong problem-solving abilities
