Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to enhance and extend a well-established software platform., * Develop, maintain, and enhance multiple eCommerce websites

• Integrate new UI/UX designs into existing web application frameworks
• Implement user interfaces for new features based on client and design specifications
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable components using jQuery and C#
• Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and security across solutions
• Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and development processes
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Project Management teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

You will have 5+ years of commercial software development experience and be a proactive, self-motivated developer who can translate written requirements into functional and technical designs.

You will be confident producing clean, efficient, and maintainable code and working collaboratively within an established development team.

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and MVC, with newer projects using .NET 10 and React
• Proven experience building and integrating REST APIs or WCF services
• Strong understanding and practical application of design patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experience using Git for source control and Azure DevOps for repository and branch management
• Experience with Entity Framework
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative development team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation
• Self-motivated approach to learning and keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
