Job description

Experteer Overview As a Workday Benefits Principal Consultant, you will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of benefits solutions for clients. You act as a trusted advisor, aligning benefits strategies with business goals and Workday best practices. You’ll guide workshops, lead medium-to-large workstreams, and mentor teams while contributing to the growth of the Workday practice through knowledge sharing and thought leadership. This role combines deep benefits expertise with delivery leadership and pre-sales support in a global, collaborative environment. Pay / Benefits * Serve as a Workday Benefits subject matter expert guiding strategy, administration, and best practices * Lead client workshops and design sessions to define solutions aligned with requirements * Design and configure Workday Benefits functionality (eligibility, plans, enrolment, life events, rates, credits, carrier integrations) * Advise on benefits programme design, compliance, and process optimization * Lead Benefits workstreams in end-to-end implementations, managing decisions, risks, and dependencies * Collaborate with HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Reporting, Security, Integrations, Change Management to deliver integrated solutions * Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live transition activities * Provide guidance on open enrolment, benefits administration, and employee self-service * Mentor consultants and analysts, delivering coaching and functional leadership * Support business development including estimations, proposals, demonstrations, and customer presentations * Contribute to practice development through training, asset creation, methodologies, and knowledge sharing * Maintain expertise in Workday Benefits functionality, regulatory requirements, and industry trends Tasks * Active Workday Benefits Certification required * Bachelor * 5+ years of Workday implementation experience * Proven experience leading Workday Benefits workstreams on end-to-end implementations * Deep functional expertise in benefits administration, eligibility management, enrolment processes, life events, benefit design, and employee self-service * Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment * Experience supporting pre-sales activities including estimations, proposals, and solution presentations * Strong consulting, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills * Ability to mentor team members and provide functional leadership across projects * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment * Eligible for SC Clearance - UK resident for last five years and legally entitled to work in the UK * Minimal travel required, willing to travel on-site as needed Key requirements * Entrepreneurial environment that welcomes your ideas * Opportunity to do great work * Outreach programs that support communities and volunteerism * Learning opportunities to help current needs and advancement * Global operations with opportunities in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific * Affinity groups for employee support
