SAP S/4HANA Architect & Technical Service Manager - Sovereign Cloud Delivery Germany

Experteer Overview In this role you act as the primary technical owner and strategic advisor for customer private cloud landscapes, driving stability and optimization within SAP Sovereign Cloud. You guide architectural decisions, governance, and risk management to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cloud operations aligned with client goals. You will work cross-functionally to lead landscape transformations, migrations, and continuous improvement, delivering measurable value from cloud investments. You’ll operate in a customer-centric, global team that supports lifecycle management and shared standards. Pay / Benefits * Provide strategic cloud architecture and governance leadership, defining roadmaps and standards * Lead landscape lifecycle activities and transformations, including upgrades, migrations, DR testing, and adoption of S/4HANA and Clean Core * Own end-to-end technical health of customer cloud landscapes across stability, performance, and compliance * Identify and manage risks and escalations, coordinating resolution with customers and internal teams * Drive automation and continuous improvement to ensure reliable operations and measurable business outcomes Tasks * SAP Basis experience in both implementation and steady-state scenarios * Extensive SAP technical administration and operations experience (7+ years) * Experience with SAP HANA and Linux environments (5+ years) * Customer-facing or technical leadership experience in demanding situations * Knowledge of SAP Cloud Infrastructure, OpenStack, Terraform or Ansible is a plus * Certifications in SAP technologies and hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are advantageous * Fluent Business English; German a plus * Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties * Office presence in Berlin or St. Leon-Rot Key requirements * great benefits * attractive remuneration package * 24/7 on-call support and shift flexibility * hybrid work option (#LI-Hybrid) * team focus on wellbeing and personal development * office locations in Berlin and St. Leon-Rot
