Job description

The Senior IT Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that systems, infrastructure, and data remain secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

This position is both strategic and hands-on. You will lead IT operations across multiple locations while supporting the day-to-day needs of employees and leadership. You’ll help build a scalable, technology-enabled environment that supports rapid growth and operational excellence.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, systems, and end-user support
  • Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability across all locations
  • Manage hardware/software lifecycle: procurement, installation, maintenance
  • Support ERP, HRIS (e.g., UKG), and other business-critical systems

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce IT security policies and best practices
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and industry standards
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

Vendor & SaaS Management

  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and consultants
  • Oversee SaaS applications, licensing, renewals, and usage
  • Track contracts and monitor vendor performance

Team Leadership & Support

  • Lead and develop IT staff or external service providers
  • Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues
  • Establish service levels and ensure timely resolution of IT requests
  • Foster a customer-service mindset within IT support

Requirements

Do you have experience in System administration?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment required
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience (systems administration, network management)
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and HRIS platforms (UKG a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft environments (Office 365, Active Directory, etc.)
