Lead Software Engineer - AEM & Forms

Experteer Overview You join a cross-functional POD to shape and deliver the frontend experience layer for Agilent.com. In this expert role, you translate customer and business needs into scalable digital capabilities, leading technical direction and mentoring peers. You will work with the Adobe stack (DA.live, EDS, AEM Cloud, Forms) to build reusable components and personalized experiences at scale. This opportunity combines hands-on development with product ownership to drive impactful customer journeys. Pay / Benefits * Deliver customer-facing experience-layer capabilities across content, product discovery, catalog, personalization, and guided journeys * Design, build, and support frontend apps and reusable components using DA.live, EDS, and AEM Cloud Service * Create and maintain DA.live Blocks using design systems for consistent, accessible experiences * Develop personalized frontend capabilities based on content, product, catalog, and journey data * Build new product and catalog capabilities to enhance discovery, comparison, and engagement * Develop and support Adobe Forms for customer workflows and self-service experiences * Partner with PMs, UX, content, catalog, architects, QA, analytics, and platform engineers to translate needs into frontend solutions * Act as Technical Product Owner (TPO) within the POD to clarify outcomes, shape backlog, define acceptance criteria, and align with business value * Integrate frontend with AEM content models, catalog data, personalization, analytics, APIs, and other platforms * Ensure frontend apps are performant, accessible, secure, observable, and optimized for global customer journeys * Apply modular design, reusable components, code reviews, automated testing, performance optimization, and production support * Guide and mentor other engineers on design, architecture, and reusable components * Contribute to agile delivery, backlog refinement, technical design, estimation, sprint execution, release readiness, and continuous improvement * Continuously improve frontend engineering patterns for faster delivery, personalization, reuse, and measurable outcomes Tasks * 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience * Strong hands-on experience with Adobe DA.live, EDS, and AEM Cloud Service * Experience developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Adobe Forms * Strong frontend skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, accessibility) * Experience using frontend design systems to build reusable UI components * Hands-on experience creating DA.live Blocks and components for content authoring, personalization, product discovery, catalog experiences, and customer journeys * Experience integrating frontend with AEM content, APIs, data services, personalization, analytics, and platforms * Understanding of content-driven architectures, component-based design, and customer journey optimization * Experience building performant, accessible, secure, globally scalable web experiences for enterprise sites * Ability to translate business and customer needs into reliable frontend solutions * Experience with agile delivery, backlog refinement, technical design, estimation, CI/CD, and production support * Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across frontend, browser, network, and integration points * Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills * Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams * Ability to operate as a TPO connecting strategy, needs, feasibility, and measurable outcomes * Experience mentoring engineers on architecture and quality Key requirements * bonus * stock * benefits * hybrid work arrangement
