Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will own and evolve Ebury’s analytics platform, focusing on enabling trusted, scalable insights for the Data Analysts. You will manage the analytics stack end-to-end, with Sigma as the core BI tool, and shape how analysts work by applying software engineering practices to the analytics flow. You will collaborate with the Data Platform team to improve governance, observability, and self-service analytics. This is an opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing fintech with a collaborative, open-source oriented culture. Pay / Benefits * Own end-to-end analytics platform lifecycle (Sigma core, governance, versioning, best practices) * Define and manage SDLC for analyst workflows across dbt and BigQuery (development standards, testing, CI/CD, release) * Build frameworks and guardrails for self-service analytics (discoverability, documentation, governance) * Champion metrics consistency across warehouse, semantic models, and BI layer * Upskill Data Analysts in analytics-engineering practices (version control, testing, modular modelling) * Provide observability for data products (usage, freshness, data quality, cost/performance) * Collaborate with Scheduler/Infra, semantic layer, and AI platform to ensure coherent platform experience * Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new BI/analytics tooling and practices Tasks * Platform engineering experience building internal BI/analytics platforms * Hands-on administration/scaling of BI tools (Sigma preferred; Looker/Tableau valued) * Deep experience with dbt and BigQuery (structure, testing, performance, cost) * Strong SQL and solid Python for tooling/automation * Experience with SDLC practices for analytics teams (Git, CI/CD, testing, docs) * Understanding of data governance ( lineage, access controls, cataloging ) for BI * Strong communication and enablement skills * Hands-on experience on GCP is a plus * English fluency (Spanish a plus) Key requirements * Competitive salary and benefits package * Discretionary performance bonus * Personal development through training and certification * Open Source friendly culture * Hybrid work model * Diverse, inclusive environment
