Data Visualization Specialist

Experteer Overview As a Data Visualization Specialist, you turn complex data into clear, actionable visuals to help stakeholders uncover insights and drive decisions. You’ll partner with clients to define data needs, build dashboards and reports, and ensure visualizations are both visually appealing and practical. The role blends design, data analysis, and user experience to deliver impactful reporting solutions. You will work across projects to set reporting standards, documentation, and stakeholder engagement, contributing to the company’s data-driven transformation. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, and implement reporting solutions using data visualization tools * Create and maintain user-friendly dashboards * Translate customer reporting requests into actionable objectives * Convert non-technical requirements into written report specifications * Collect and incorporate feedback from business users and stakeholders * Apply best practices in data visualization and interactive UX * Create complex calculations within visualization tools to support business logic * Maintain documentation across multiple projects * Stay current on data visualization tools and practices * Serve as a data visualization expert for the team and organization * Lead discussions on reporting requirements, design, infrastructure needs, and project health * Think critically and apply judgment to IT-related issues Tasks * 5+ years designing, developing, and distributing dashboards with Tableau OR PowerBI * 5+ years hands-on SQL experience with server/database tools (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Google Analytics, etc.) * 5+ years MS PowerPoint and Excel experience (pivot tables/graphs) * Willingness to travel at least 25% Key requirements * medical insurance * dental insurance * vision insurance * 401k with company match * paid time off * life and AD&D insurance
