Sr. Data Analyst

Experteer Overview In this Senior Business Analyst role, you will shape how Pinterest understands content performance, producers, and trends. You’ll combine quantitative analysis with storytelling and scalable data products to deliver actionable insights for the Content team and cross-functional partners. This high-ownership position rewards bringing structure to ambiguity and building tools that empower better decisions at scale. You’ll work closely with diverse teams to influence content strategy and creator opportunities while leveraging AI to accelerate analytics. Compensation / Benefits * Synthesize large datasets from disparate sources and translate insights for technical and non-technical audiences * Monitor operating metrics and provide timely trend insights related to content performance and team goals * Build and maintain foundational datasets using internal ETL/ELT tools to support repeatable analysis * Develop scalable analytics products and dashboards to make complex data accessible and actionable * Apply AI and emerging tools to speed analytics workflows and support data product development with strong validation and ownership * Collaborate with Content Partnerships, Editorial, Product, Engineering, Strategy, Product Analytics, and global teams to translate questions into practical tools and recommendations Tasks * 6+ years of experience in business and data analytics in fast-paced data-driven environments * Advanced SQL skills; Python, R, or similar scripting languages are a plus * Experience building foundational datasets, data models, or ETL/ELT workflows * Demonstrated use of AI or emerging tools to augment analytics with a focus on accuracy and data protection * Strong communication skills for translating analysis into insights for diverse audiences * Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and turn ambiguous questions into high-quality deliverables * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience Key requirements * base salary range disclosed * equity offered * PinFlex / flexible working model * remote-friendly role * in-office collaboration 1-2 times per quarter
