Information Technology Network Optimization

Job description

Design and implement enterprise network architectures, including network hardware, software, connectivity, and communications technologies.
Assess and optimize existing network environments to identify performance, capacity, and scalability gaps and develop recommendations for improvement.
Configure and support routers, switches, security appliances, and other network infrastructure components.
Establish and maintain network security, connectivity, access, firewall, and intrusion-detection controls while testing and tuning security technologies.

Requirements

5â10 years of experience in network engineering, network architecture, or a closely related infrastructure role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of DOCSIS, including experience supporting DOCSIS-based network environments.
Experience with D-POE (DOCSIS Provisioning over Ethernet) systems and related network technologies.
Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, topology, routing, and network infrastructure design.
Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls, along with experience configuring network hardware and software.
