Staff Business Intelligence Architect

Experteer Overview In this role, you will translate data into strategic insights to accelerate Slack’s GTM growth. You’ll partner with Sales Strategy, GTM, Engineering, Finance, and Data to solve complex problems and build scalable analytics. The position blends technical rigor with business acumen to deliver measurable impact and trusted data for decision making. You’ll lead analytics initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and create self-service data products that empower teams. Compensation / Benefits * Partner with Sales Strategy and GTM leaders to understand priorities and influence decisions * Perform deep analyses and translate findings into executive-ready recommendations * Design scalable analytics frameworks to identify trends and opportunities * Build self-service dashboards and data products for stakeholders * Collaborate with Data Engineering to maintain trusted data models * Define and standardize business metrics across teams * Develop AI-powered intelligence solutions linking usage, health, engagement, and field activities * Create presentations and narratives tailored to technical and executive audiences * Lead projects across the full analytics lifecycle from modeling to self-service enablement * Help stakeholders understand actions and outcomes behind data Tasks * 8+ years of analytics experience * Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one analytics programming language (Python or R) * Experience building scalable BI solutions (Tableau or Looker) * Ability to create effective self-service analytics experiences * Strong attention to data quality and analytical rigor * Outstanding communication and storytelling for executive audiences * Degree in quantitative or technical field, or equivalent practical experience Key requirements * time off programs * medical, dental, vision * mental health support * paid parental leave * life and disability insurance * 401(k) and employee stock purchasing program
