Systems Test Engineer - Level 2 or 3 (AHT)

Experteer Overview As a Systems Test Engineer, you will translate contract requirements into robust test solutions for complex, cloud-based ground systems. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, coordinate multi-team testing, and deliver system-level evaluations that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints. You’ll collaborate with software teams to reproduce issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive rapid, collaborative resolutions. This is an onsite role with a mission-driven culture focused on safeguarding national security and advancing space capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Translate requirements into test solutions and plans * Develop and direct preparation and execution of test plans, procedures, and schedules * Coordinate integrated testing activities * Review and ensure completeness of test requirements * Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare system-level evaluations * Collaborate with software development teams to ensure understanding, reproducibility, and resolution approaches * Identify software issues, troubleshoot, and drive rapid resolutions * Utilize scripting (Python, Bash), Git, containerization (Kubernetes, Helm), and Java in testing workflows Tasks * Active DoD Top Secret/SSCI clearance at time of application * Bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience (or Master’s with 0 years) * Experience with ground system software deployment, integration and testing in complex, layered, cloud-based environments * Understanding of requirements decomposition and verification planning * Ability to collaborate with software teams and obtain reproduction steps and resolution approaches * Proactive troubleshooting and root-cause investigation in support of detailed problem reports * Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash), Git, Kubernetes, Helm, and Java Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * overtime/bonus potential
