Software I&T Engineer (Level 2 or 3) - AHT

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to software and integration testing for space mission planning systems, joining a cross-functional team in the Space Sector. You will translate mission requirements into robust software tests, develop cloud-based services, and help improve DevOps practices. Your work will span across application, container, and cloud layers, ensuring secure and reliable systems. Compensation / Benefits * Define test plans and test cases with traceability to requirements and design * Verify reliability and error handling in asynchronous workflows * Collaborate with systems engineers to translate mission planning requirements into software solutions * Implement and maintain cloud-deployed services with monitoring, logging, and alerting * Participate in code reviews, test automation efforts, and continuous improvement of development and integration practices * Troubleshoot issues across application, container, and cloud layers * Communicate effectively with developers, DevOps, and systems engineers Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of software engineering experience, or Master’s degree with 0+ years (Level 2) * Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of software engineering experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years (Level 3) * Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret and SCI clearance * Experience with test automation tools (TestComplete, Junit, Mockito, pytest, Catch2) * Experience building automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline * Strong scripting skills (Python, JavaScript) * Solid test design techniques * Proficiency with source control/work tracking (Git, GitLab/GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jira) Key requirements * Medical, Dental & Vision coverage * 401k * Educational Assistance * Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions * Paid Time Off
