Senior AI Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will modernize and automate FCSD’s supply chain analytics using GCP, building scalable data pipelines and AI models. You’ll translate procurement and logistics data into actionable insights and interactive decision tools, working closely with cross-functional teams. Your work will drive supplier performance, lead times, and inventory decisions in support of Ford’s global supply chain. This is a chance to shape analytics at scale within a storied automotive brand. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform to unify global FCSD datasets * Develop and operationalize AI/ML models and decision tools to optimize supply chain and procurement * Create AI agents and conversational assistants using GenAI/LLMs on GCP Vertex AI * Build interactive Power BI dashboards and Power Platform apps for leadership and operations * Automate repetitive data workflows and manual tasks to reduce overhead * Partner with supply chain planners, data engineers, and leadership to translate problems into scalable AI solutions * Maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer * Leverage FCSD data (parts catalogs, purchasing, logistics, warehouse data) to create single-source-of-truth analytics tables * Evaluate and deploy AI/analytic solutions including optimization and forecasting for key KPIs Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (CS, Data Science, Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics) * 5+ years of production-grade Python and advanced SQL experience * Solid understanding of FCSD supply chain and procurement processes * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) * Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) * Strong foundation in statistics, probability, linear algebra, and ML/AI algorithms Key requirements * Medical, dental, vision coverage * Flexible family care days and parental leave * Tuition assistance * Vehicle discount program * Paid time off and holidays * Paid time off to support community service
